FLOATING HITCH: All 3550 Series Cultivators, 5550 Series Chisel Cultivators and 7450 Series Chisel Plows feature a full floating hitch. Designed to move up or down with the tractor, the floating hitch allows the implement to maintain a constant working depth when crossing over hills or through ravines. Each front caster wheel is linked mechanically to the rockshaft to form a parallel lift system which allows the implement to maintain a consistent front-to-back level at any working depth.

Single cylinder depth control guarantees more accurate depth control than series cylinders commonly used by competitors. This is achieved by eliminating the leakage that occurs between hydraulic cylinders in series, which constantly need rephasing. The result is dependable accuracy in the field – where it counts.
Front-to-rear leveling is simple as 1.2.3.
1. Remove quick-pin.
2. Extend or contract pusharm by turning clockwise or counter clockwise.
3. Reinstall quick pin.
Note: extending the pusharm will raise and contracting will
lower the rear of the toolbar.
Provides for uniform working depth by averaging out field variations: If tillage unit crosses over a 4” deep furrow, cultivating depth will vary only 2”. Staggered walking beams assist in preventing accumulation of mud and trash between wheels while maintaining desired shank spacing for maximum trash flow.
Side to side wing leveling is also simple as 1.2.3.
1. Loosen jam nut.
2. Extend or contract quick wing leveler by turning shaft.
3. Tighten jam nut.
Note: extending will lower and contracting will raise the side of the wing.

Allow for easy removal of wheel and tire if required. Castering axle rides on a nylon graphite wear washer for long life and smooth castering.
In transport, front caster wheel and main frame transport wheels are automatically locked with Ezee-On’s over-center, mechanical linkages. Hydraulic pressure unlocks the tillage unit from the transport position.
Most sizes of Ezee-On Cultivators and Chisel Plows are designed to allow the installation of bolt-on extension stubs and/ or frames. This feature enables producers to increase working width without necessarily having to purchase a new unit.
Located at the front of the toolbar, these lock-out valves ensure safer transportation. Should the operator accidentally move a hydraulic lever, the wings will not unfold and the toolbar will not lower when these valves are in the locked position.
