|
| Single cylinder
depth control guarantees more
accurate seed placement than series cylinders
commonly used by competitors. This is
achieved by eliminating the leakage that
occurs between hydraulic cylinders in
series, which constantly need rephasing.
The result is dependable accuracy in
the field – where it counts. |
|
| To ensure the seeding
depth doesn’t change while working,
Ezee-On uses positive mechanical
depth stops that clip onto the
single depth-control cylinder, conveniently
located at the front of the machine. With
cylinder adjustments in 1/8” (3mm)
increments, operators are able to set the
Air Drill for precise seeding results every
time. |
|
| Ezee-On places all
front caster wheels inside the
first row of the Drill’s frame.
This enables the Air Drill to follow
uneven ground very accurately because
it shortens the contour depth. Large
11L and 12.5L tires are standard in order
to offer maximum floatation. (see Specification
Chart) |
|
| Producers demand flexibility
in the field. Ezee-On has perfected a flex-wing
hinge system that gives the fore/aft
travel needed to follow the ground and
reduce torsional stress without any maintenance
required. The fixed hinge on the second
row of each section provides weight transfer
from frame to frame to ensure proper depth
penetration from each section. |

|
|
|
|
|
| Packer wheels are
sometimes required to roll over rocks, stumps,
etc in the field. Ezee-On’s walking
beam design provides positive packing
pressure by allowing individual gangs to roll
over obstructions without affecting its adjacent
gang. |
|
Front-to-rear leveling on
a Series II Drill is simple as 1.2.3.
1. Remove quick-pin.
2. Extend or contract pusharm by turning clockwise or counter
clockwise.
3. Reinstall quick pin. Note: extending the pusharm will
raise and contracting will lower the rear of the Air Drill. |
|
Side to side wing leveling is
also simple as 1.2.3.
1. Loosen jam nut.
2. Extend or contract quick wing leveler by turning shaft.
3. Tighten jam nut. Note: extending will raise and contracting
will lower the side of the wing. |
|
| Moving trash residue through
the frame without plugging can be challenging
for competitive 4-row frame Air Drills. 7550
Series II Drills have a fully welded
5-row frame design that ensures no two
shanks are placed closely on the same row, or
front to back, leaving smooth field finish. |

|
| The heart of Ezee-On’s
rugged spring cushion shank is the 3.5” (89mm)
full width nylon-graphite bushing. Self
lubricating, these bushings have a long service
life with no maintenance required. Shank assemblies,
(pre-assembled at the factory), have dual springs
with a choice of 350 lb (159kg) or 550 lb (250kg)
initial breakout force. |
|
| Whatever your soil type or opener
style, Ezee-On has a packer wheel that
will be a perfect match. Semi-pneumatic
rubber will flex and shed wet, sticky soil. Ezee-On’s
steel packers, with industry leading ¼” (6mm)
face, are better suited to rocky conditions. |
|
| Underframe clearance is
an important part of any Air Drill’s performance.
Ezee-On offers 35” (889mm) of opener to frame
clearance allowing trash to flow through the Drill
with ease. 46” (1.2m) of clearance is achieved
when the Drill is lifted completely. |
|
| In transport, both front casters
and rear transport wheels are automatically
locked with Ezee-On’s over-center, mechanical
linkages. Hydraulic pressure unlocks the
Drill from the transport position. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
Located at the front
of the drill, these lock-out valves ensure
safer transportation. Should the operator
accidentally move a hydraulic lever, the wings will
not unfold and the Drill will not lower when these
valves are in the locked position.

|
| For producers looking for
the ultimate in quick and easy maintenance,
Ezee-On offers central grease banks located
at the front of the Air Drill. High pressure
grease hose leads to each rockshaft bearing
located in the middle of the frame. Available
in 2007. |
|
| For producers wanting to
single shoot, Ezee-On offers four seed
boot choices with varying spread patterns.
A wide variety of aftermarket double shoot
openers are available from your dealer to fit
Ezee-On Air Drills. |

|
Ezee-On’s optional 2-row
in-frame harrows provide a more level
field finish and better seed-to-soil contact.
Operators can adjust the angle and down pressure
of the 16” (406mm) tines to match varying
field conditions.
Note: Requires changing shank configuration from 5 rows
to 4 rows. |
|
| Economical End Shank
Gauges provide visual indication of
the Drill’s field position and can help
prevent costly overlaps. They are fully adjustable
and offer spring breakaway protection against
impact. Available on all Ezee-On Drills except
28’ (8.5m). |
|
| To increase floatation, mainframe dual
caster wheels are standard equipment
on 40’ (12.2m) and larger Drills, and
optional on all smaller 3-section Drills. Furthermore,
the smallest tire Ezee-On supplies on the 7550
is an 11L, most competitors use smaller 9.5L
tires. |
|
| Rock deflectors are
available to prevent rocks or stumps from lodging
between packer wheels. Steel packers have adjustable, hardened
mud scrapers available to strip off
mud and ensure consistent packer performance. |
